Agent Spotlight – Chris Luther

-What do you enjoy about real estate?

As a former collegiate athlete, I find many aspects of the real estate industry exciting because I am very competitive by nature and real estate certainly satisfies that competitive itch I have everyday. I strive to do everything I can for my clients to realize their goals and dreams as it relates to their home and investment needs. I also love being a team leader and helping each agent on our team grow and be successful. Our team environment at Team Wilmington is great and everyone plays a vital role in our overall success.

-How long have you lived in Wilmington?

I was born and raised in Wilmington and have called Wilmington home my entire life with the exception of 2 years where I attended the University of Kentucky to pursue a Masters Degree in Sports Management. Most of my family lives in Wilmington and it is truly a great place to live which makes my job easier when we have clients looking to move to the area and I can provide the local knowledge they are looking for. I am a graduate of UNC-Wilmington where I also played Baseball for the Seahawks.

-What is your favorite thing to do in Wilmington?

I enjoy playing golf, and catching a local sporting event when my schedule allows.

-What is the best piece of advice you can recommend to home sellers?

Price your home correctly. This is the best way to sell quickly and for the best price. Many people think they need to price higher and leave room for negotiation. I pride myself on pricing homes exactly where they need to be priced for maximum exposure and results.

-What is the best piece of advice you can recommend to home buyers?

Learn what financing options are available to you early on in the process, every situation is different and you may have specific loan options available to you that not everyone will qualify for. Our team will help connect you with the right partners to set you up for the best loans and strategy for purchasing that next home.
